rapid-photo-downloader software package provides Photo downloader (importer) from cameras, memory cards other devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rapid-photo-downloader
rapid-photo-downloader is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rapid-photo-downloader package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rapid-photo-downloader *
You will get with rapid-photo-downloader package name, version, architecture and description in a table
